Chinle Planting Hope is so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Wayfarer Foundation family and their continued support of indigenous communities. We are honored to receive a generous grant from them that will help foster unity, community development, empowerment and social justice. The Wayfarer Foundation support will help CPH to strengthen our R.E.A.D. in Beauty Bookmobile project and development of our Imagination Station hands-on learning center!
CPH was also given the opportunity to create a video highlighting our organization when Kathy and Nicole visited the Field Museum Exhibit in Chicago last July. Click on the link below to view the video! Thanks to Vincent of Globe Town Media for your professional work. Thank you Wayfarer Foundation for helping to make a difference in Chinle, AZ! Fiesta Bowl cares about and supports so many non-profits in the state of Arizona and the Navajo Nation. CPH is excited to be among this amazing group! CPH is honored to be a partner with Fiesta Bowl Charities as they help us continue our mission to Build Community, Live with Hope and Walk in Beauty. Their grant will help further Chinle Planting Hope's educational programming. It will strengthen the R.E.A.D. in Beauty Bookmobile project and the development of our Imagination Station hands-on learning space for elementary school children. Thank you Fiesta Bowl Charities from all of us at Chinle Planting Hope! Please check out the Fiesta Bowl link below for more information. Chinle Planting Hope was chosen by the AZ Diamondbacks as a 2022 Ken Kendrick Grand Slam grant recipient this year! We are humbled, grateful and excited to partner with the AZ Diamondbacks! This extraordinary honor will greatly impact CPH and the development of our growing Community Center in Chinle. It was a full few weeks…We found out CPH was a finalist a few weeks ago and our team had the opportunity to drive to Phoenix and present to the Diamondbacks Board. Bessie, Kathy, Alvira, Jan and Nicole presented our plans and passion for serving the Diné community. The Diamondbacks Board was kind and caring. Kathy and Nicole then attended the Diamondbacks Gala event last weekend where we received the great news about the grant! We want to congratulate the other deserving community recipients too. Great job Thank you Diamondbacks for caring about both the big cities and small rural communities in AZ. Thank you for supporting the work of CPH on the Navajo Nation! This very generous Diamondbacks grant will help create opportunities, employment and learning that will happen because of the bookmobile, bike shop, thrift store, community garden, playground and other CPH programs. Ahéhee’ AZ Diamondbacks! We’ll continue to keep you updated on progress. Thank you for walking with us on this journey friends! |
